Plumbers Join the Cause!

Last Tuesday, ambassadors from the ERM met with the Association of Plumbers Associated with Plumbing (APAP) with the hopes of enlisting their help in the cause of echidna restoration. After 2 days of deliberation, the chairmen of APAP released a statement of approval. Among other things, the statement declared that "...the APAP will be more than happy to partner with the ERM in future endeavors to bring tranquility to the echidna population." Needless to say, the ERM is overjoyed at this newfound support. One ambassador reportedly sacrificed 300 goldfish in a gesture of thanksgiving. Another was said to have jumped for joy... out a 7 story window. (His funeral will be next Tuesday at the North Pole.) A week-long celebration will be held at ERM Headquarters starting tomorrow; cupcakes and carrots will served along with blue wine and rotten kool-aid.

As the first association to join the ERM coalition, the APAP will be setting groundbreaking precedents. Time will tell whether these precedents will be healthy for the movement or not.
